The Geological Society Engineering Group Special Publication: Geological Hazards in the UK: Their Occurrence, Monitoring and Mitigation is an essential read and point of reference for all ground investigation and geotechnical practitioners in the UK.

The Geological Society have been holding a series of webinars covering the content of each chapter.

This evening (Tuesday 1st June), Simon Ruddlesden will be presenting on the Hazards Associated with Mining and Mineral Exploitation in Devon and Cornwall.

Should be good (if you’re interested in that kind of thing)!
