Geoff is a Chartered Geologist and Chartered Engineer with over 35 years of experience in the investigation and interpretation of geology and ground conditions, and in the management of geotechnical and multi-disciplinary projects.
He has worked on a wide range of engineering schemes, from small housing developments to large civil engineering projects, and at all stages, from initial feasibility studies and investigations through to design and construction.
A large part of Geoff’s experience has involved the risk assessment and management of landslides and other geological hazards, notably on the UK coast. Geoff has particular expertise on the landslides of Lyme Regis and the West Dorset coast, and indeed has authored several publications on the subject.
Geoff is very hands-on, and is equally happy in the field as he is in the office.
