Ruddlesden geotechnical

Working for Ruddlesden geotechnical on a part-time basis, David is a Chartered Geologist with more than 40 years' experience in engineering geology, geotechnical engineering and geoenvironmental projects.

The majority of David's early career was based in the Midlands, where he acquired a specialist expertise in the research, investigation and remediation of land affected by past industrial mineral workings and mine entries.

In recent years, David's work has included the investigation, remedial stabilisation works and management strategy for instability problems affecting earthworks and infrastructure on the mainline railway west of Exeter.

David is now an integral part of Ruddlesden geotechnical’s accredited Company Training Scheme, being the Training Officer (the link between the company and the Geological Society of London), as well as a mentor to some of the more junior engineering geologists.
