Residential Development, Gloucestershire - Ruddlesden Geotechnical

On behalf of a national house builder, comprehensive recommendations were provided for the future residential development of a greenfield site.

Geotechnical recommendations included foundations, ground floor slabs, road pavement design, groundwater, excavations and soakaways.

Environmental recommendations included human health and controlled waters risk assessments and a ground gas assessment.

The investigation included a desk study and walkover survey followed by the formation of trial pits, in-situ soakaway testing, in-situ CBR testing and geotechnical and contamination laboratory testing.
