Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Parks - Ruddlesden Geotechnical

Geotechnical investigations have been undertaken at many sites across the United Kingdom for new photovoltaic (PV) solar parks.

Generally between 10 and 15 hectares in size, geotechnical information has been required to provide information for foundation design. The investigation has generally taken the form of a desk study and a walkover survey followed by boreholes and/ or trial pits with laboratory testing.

Clients have included international companies and the information for design has been issued promptly, as required.
