In–Situ CBR and Plate Bearing Testing, Dorset - Ruddlesden Geotechnical

For the 2012 Olympics, the site was being redeveloped as part of the regeneration of the area. The client required California Bearing Ratio (CBR) values for use in road pavement design.

Conventional CBR in-situ testing as well as in-situ plate bearing testing (both in accordance with BS 1377) were carried out to provide CBR values for use in road pavement design.

Carried out on several occasions, as areas became ready for testing, site visits were undertaken at short notice and results were issued promptly (both within 1-2 days).
