Conversion of Existing Retail Units - Ruddlesden Geotechnical

Across the whole of the country, many ground investigations have been undertaken for the conversion of existing retail units, for the construction of mezzanine floors, lift pits, escalator bases and garden centres.

These investigations commonly take the form of concrete cores, window sample boreholes and/ or trial pits with in-situ and laboratory testing.

The investigtion work is sometimes undertaken whilst the previous occupant of the buildng is still trading, with the associated importance of tidy reinstatement, or is carried out immediately prior to conversion, when the design information is required and provided promptly.
