Contamination Remediation, Herefordshire - Ruddlesden Geotechnical

For a proposed residential development, a Phase 1 Assessment and Phase 2 Site Investigation identified elevated levels of hydrocarbon contamination in the area of some fuel tanks that appeared to have leaked in the past.

Removal and off-site disposal of contaminated soil was recommended.

The remediation work was supervised by Ruddlesden geotechnical. A Verification Report, which included laboratory testing results and photographs, was subsequently produced and this demonstrated to the various regulators that no unacceptable levels of contamination remained in the ground and that the site was suitable for its proposed end-use.
